Eclairer toute l’Afrique à l’énergie propre et durable: c’est que qu’ambitionne le chanteur Akon dans le cadre de son projet «Akon Lighting Africa», un programme dirigé par Thione Niang, fondateur de «Give one project» et Samba Bathily de Solektra Energy Group.

En Gambie pour le lancement de son programme d’énergie solaire, Akon s’entretiendra avec le président Adama Barrow. Il y dévoilera aussi un projet d’autonomisation des jeunes, intitulé «Le rôle des jeunes dans la construction d’une nouvelle Gambie», renseigne le quotidien Les Echos.

Le chanteur, pour rappel, a mobilisé des millions de dollars en vue de financer des projets en Afrique.
